Jessica reminded me of the humble bento box. I wonder if making these would help Paul and I with our healthy eating thing? I could make lunch each day for both of us and it wouldn't have to be berluddy sandwiches again.
So, far I have only written 4208 words when I should be closer to 8,000 really. On the other hand I did some stuff this weekend that needed doing and I had the rare opportunity to go out, not once but twice, so I feel no shame. Also, I've done some badass planning and tomorrow I have a whole day free for writing bar a meeting at 11am.
In other news I've joined Shimelle's My Freedom class and so I think I'll be blogging about that as well. I've been really enjoying doing some scrapbooking classes focussed on self-reflection recently. I still have some of Kollete Hall's Art of Becoming More to finish but I have the prompts and I'll be happy to wait until after the Great Novel Writing Effort to do that.
Equally, I'll try and do the writing for Shimelle's class as a warm up to writing sessions but I might not scrapbook it all until August.
I've introduced my 3 master characters (although one of them we don't know recognise who he is yet), 2 major characters and 2 minors, as well as setup 3 main strands of plot and a sideplot. It's all so rough it's embarrassing but I'm determined to get down as many different scenes as possible to create progression. I figure dialogue can always be smartened up later on.
So, yup, 4208. Just need to write another 800 tomorrow and Paul can't hold me to tidying the bedroom. Though I almost certainly will anyway cos my mum is visiting for the weekend and we all know what mums think about messy bedrooms, right?
